Let’s Rebuild Your Confidence

Evidence-based therapy to improve self-esteem

If you find yourself constantly feeling worried about letting people down, guilty when asserting your needs, or undeserving of what you truly want in life, you may be experiencing low self-esteem. Low self-esteem often shows up as a harsh inner critic that tells you that you’re “not good enough”, that you’re falling behind, or that you’re fundamentally flawed or unlovable.

If this sounds familiar, I’m here to help. At Reveal Psychotherapy, I offer accessible, virtual therapy for women who are ready to take back control of their mental health. My goal is to empower you to overcome these cycles of negative self-talk so you can step into the most self-assured, confident version of yourself.

How Can Therapy Improve Your Self-Esteem?

Together, we’ll explore the narratives shaping how you see yourself and begin transforming your negative thoughts into a grounded knowing of your inherent worth and value. In our sessions, you’ll learn practical tools to quiet the inner-critic, while we work to cultivate a greater sense of self-trust and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

THERAPY CAN HELP YOU:
  • That constant self-talk telling you you’re not good enough doesn’t have to run the show. Therapy can help you challenge the accuracy and truthfulness of negative self-talk, and support you in replacing these thoughts with more positive, empowering perspectives.

  • Together, we’ll explore the origins of your self-doubt and help you transform your negative thoughts about yourself into a true, grounded knowing of your worth and value.

Instead of second-guessing every choice, you’ll learn to trust your judgment and feel more self-assured in your decisions.

  • I’ll help you shift from self-criticism to self-acceptance, supporting you to recognize your strengths and feel whole and “good enough” exactly as you are.

As you step into a greater sense of self-acceptance and self-worth, you’ll feel empowered to show up with more authenticity in your daily life, and more confidence as you pursue your goals.

  • Gain the self-trust and confidence to set boundaries, express your needs without guilt, and cultivate relationships that feel supportive and authentic.

An Evidence-Based Approach to Therapy for Self-Esteem in California

Who I help

I often work with young women who are struggling to keep up with the demands or multiple responsibilities and the high expectations they set for themselves. Many of my clients are college students or young professionals who feel held back by a lack of confidence or people-pleasing. They may look like they have it all under control, but beneath the surface, feelings of low self-esteem, inadequacy, and fear of rejection or failure are getting louder.

My approach

My goal is to help you move from insecure and people-pleasing to self-assured and empowered. In our sessions, we’ll explore the past experiences that may be influencing your experience of low self-esteem, and develop practical tools to help you quiet the inner critic and cultivate a more compassionate and empowering relationship with yourself.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, amongst others, integrating them to create a plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.
