My Approach

Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. I bring a light-hearted, down-to-earth style that often includes humor, so that growth feels grounded and meaningful, without being overwhelming.

We’ll tailor our work to fit your needs, blending practical coping skills for immediate relief, with deeper insight to create lasting change.

I DRAW FROM EVIDENCE-BASED APPROACHES LIKE:
  • CBT helps you notice the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By identifying unhelpful patterns - like negative self-talk or cycles of worry - we can work together to reframe them and practice healthier ways of responding. Over time, CBT gives you practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, and self-doubt in your daily life.

  • ACT focuses on learning to accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you, build coping skills, and create space for more flexibility in how you approach challenges. The goal is to help you live in alignment with your values while reducing the weight of anxiety and perfectionism.

  • SFBT is a short-term, goal-oriented approach that emphasizes solutions rather than problems. We’ll focus on your strengths and what’s already working in your life, then build strategies to help you move forward. Even small changes can create meaningful progress and a sense of momentum.

  • IFS helps you understand the different ‘parts’ of yourself that may be pulling you in different directions. In IFS therapy, we work to identify and communicate with these parts, in order to bring more harmony and balance into your life. This process can help heal emotional wounds, ease inner conflict, and support you in discovering greater self-compassion and peace.
